Our client, a leading financial institution seeks a
Front End Systems Application Manager.

In this demanding position your tasks will include

• Manage daily Application Operation and ensure high availability
• Consultancy support in all Application Development Phases
• Responsible for all Service Management Phases (Deploy, Operate and Optimise)
• Define and review SLA/OLA with the Application Owners / Business Stakeholders
• Facilitation of inter-System or -Departmental Incidents/Problems/Changes
• Support the test management team; establish and ensure the required level of Quality Standards
• Ensure and Facilitate appropriate Functional-/Technical Documentation

The successful applicant will ideally bring the following experience and expertise:

• Two or more years experience in commercial IT such as Banking or Insurance
• Basic Project-Management and strong communication / organisation skills

• Experienced in the ITIL / Cobit Framework
• Knowledge of general IT- and Web-Application Architectures
• Experienced in the Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Oracle 10g, Web Sphere, IBM Application Server and Networking
• Basic understanding of JSP, PL/SQL, XML and MS Server Systems (SQL, W2K)

• Ability to assert oneself, while also being a team player

• Education in commercial Informatics (BA or Msc / eidg. Wirtschaftsinformatiker / Fachausweis)

• English and German fluent (French is an advantage)
