Supply Chain Manager
Our client, an established chemical company in the north-west part of Switzerland,is looking for
Supply Chain Manager.
In this position you will be responsible for building strong relationships with global suppliers and for coordination of supply chain activities
Responsibilities
- Build solid supply chain and purchasing network, proactively identify new sources
- Monitor and recognize demand uncertainties and possible supply limitation and propose feasible solutions
- Seek for cost saving opportunities and lead negotiations
- Keep track of all relevant purchasing information
- Work in close collaboration with production and business units
The successful applicant will ideally bring the following experience and expertise:
Experience / Expertise
- Several years of work experience in supply chain or sales
- Project management skills and ability to multi-tasks in a dynamic international environment
- Procurement experience a plus
- SAP knowledge an asset
General
- Relationship building skills with business partners
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience in chemical companies a plus
Education
- Commercial/Engineer Degree
Languages
- Fluency in English and German, French knowledge welcome
