Our client, an international chemical company based in the north-west of Switzerland, is looking for a Packaging Engineer.

In this strategic position, all steps along the manufacturing process must be taken into account in the design of the package for any given product. The packaging engineer must interact with Research & Development, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory and Purchasing departments. The package must sell and protect the product, while maintaining an efficient, cost-effective process cycle.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing new packing systems according to specific needs
• Provide technical support in packing issues for various departments
• Coordinate communication with internal and external business partner
• Take care of regulatory and legal issues

• One- three years of work experience in the field
• Project and team management experience an asset

• Precise and structured way of working
• Strong communication and teamplayer skills

• University degree as Packaging Engineer or other degree with Packaging experience

• Fluent in English and German
