Accounting Allrounder for Dynamic Financial Company
Our client, part of a global group of companies specialized in investment management and reinsurance, seeks an
Accounting Allrounder for its Zurich office.
Job Description
- Control all company bank accounts; make payments, monitor receipts, manage banking relationships
- Monitor investment portfolios, ensure proper reporting, and manage relationships with investment managers
- Manage Corporate Compliance
- Manage supplier relationships
- Assume HR management and control
- Head up Internal Compliance
- Assist with Financial Reporting (optional)
- Technical Accounting
- Administrative support
- Point of contact to underwriters, third party administrators and cooperation partners in absence of Directors
- Direct reporting to CFO
General Duties
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between clients & suppliers and relevant staff
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, suppliers and clients
- Readiness to take responsibility in a dynamic environment and continually improve skills
Requirements
- 4-6 years experience in both financial and technical accounting
- Experience in financial industry preferred
- Higher degree (Uni, FH) in accounting / finance
- Excellent spoken and written English and German
- Excellent IT skills, including MS office and applications
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong desire and ability to work in a start-up-type environment
