For the Zurich office of our client, a mid-sized, internationally operating asset management company, we are seeking an Investment Strategist (Alternative Investments).

You will be responsible for planning, organising and implementing international projects in the areas of strategy and process management with a multidisciplinary scope. Some travel will be required.

In this role, you will be covering a wide range of tasks, analyzing the markets, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, proposing asset allocation and contributing to the further development of investment processes. The main emphasis will be on alternative investments. The environment is dynamic and entrepreneurial.

As the successful candidate you will have the following qualifications:

• Several years of experience in investment strategy working across various asset classes

• Very good knowledge in asset allocation, broad knowledge of various asset classes including alternative investments, excellent quantitative skills, IT affinity and some programing skills

• A higher degree with a strong background in quantitative methods

• Flexibility and enthusiasm, strong conceptial and analytical skills, ability to communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders and very good social skills

• English, German and other languages are a plus
