Our client, a leading Financial Services company in Zurich, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant .

In this Position, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of financial and regulatory statements and management information for various entities according to US and Swiss-GAAAP, and internal and external reporting to various parties. You will work on projects regarding launching of new products, implementation of business strategy and local regulatory reporting. You will be responsible for the continued improvement of reporting tools and the related business processes, as well as for the further development of the internal controlling system, including schooling users. Furthermore, you will be the go-to person for questions regarding local accounting issues, the liaison for internal and external auditors and other internal departments, and be available for ad-hoc analysis.

Your skills and qualifications for this role are:

• 3 - 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting in the banking industry

• US-GAAP, Swiss-GAAP and IFRS would be an advantage
• Very good MS Office skills, SAP or Oracle would be a great advantage

• Higher education (Uni, FH) in accounting / finance, or apprenticeship with further education and certifications (ex. CPA etc.)

• Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic environment, to take responsibility and continually make improvements
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Team and results-oriented

• Fluent German and English
