Operations Officer (Hedge Fund)

to manage its operations. This function includes a broad range of tasks and presents the opportunity to be involved in all the operational functions of a rapidly growing hedge fund. Beyond the responsibility for everyday operations the role holder is expected to contribute to the further development of the operations function. The environment is entrepreneurial with a flat hierarchy. Initiative, ability to work independently and an innovative mindset are highly welcome. The company combines the advantages of a start-up situation with very solid financial backing.

The successful candidate ideally will have the following profile:

• A background in fund operations or related areas, ideally but not necessarily in the hedge fund industry
• Several years of relevant experience

• Solid knowledge in fund operations or related areas
• Good general IT skills, especially Excel

• A higher degree or equivalent professional experience

• Good organizational skills and a structured work style/li>
• Good communicator and team player
• Excellent initiative and self-direction

• German and English
