Our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich seeks a Senior Test Manager.

In this position you will manage the definition, planning and execution of IT tests. You will work closely with IT and business users to develope testing goals and strategy, defining business needs and test cases. Your responsibilities will include verifying the quality of requirements, from testability and test-environment configuration to test execution. You will be in charge of test planning, budgeting and scheduling and for the hardware and software acquisitions, including managing relationships with external developers and vendors.

The successful applicant will ideally bring the following experience and expertise:

• Broad experience in IT Test Management and thorough understanding of testing processes and methodology
• Familiar with test-program concerns including test environment and data management, trouble reporting and resolution
• Experience coordinating external suppliers and understanding of contracting processes, ideally experience with off-shore operations

• Broad IT knowledge comprising programming languages, database technologies and testing techniques
• Familiar with different test tools, defect-tracking tools, and other test-support tools

• Good presentation & interpersonal skills
• Structured and results-driven work style
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Higher degree in computer sciences or similar

• German and English
